Twin ValleyRotary presents $1,000 to Honey Brook Libray

The Twin Valley Rotary Club presented a check for $1,000 to the Honey Brook Library Director, Jennifer Spade, at its recent meeting.

Earlier in the year the Club gave $1,000 to the Village Library In Morgantown.

Literacy is one of the five major areas of emphasis for Rotary International which include: peace and conflict resolution, disease prevention and treatment, water sanitation, maternal and child health, basic education and literacy, and economic and community development.

Man run over by bulldozer during police pursuit; death ruled accidental

A man was run over by a bulldozer during a police pursuit on State Game Lands in Penn Township on July 9. Pennsylvania State Police ruled the death accidental.

Official: 8 boys rescued from flooded Thai cave
