28th annual Belt Sander Race benefits National Multiple Sclerosis Society

The 28th Annual Belt Sander Race to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society was held on July 14 at Bertie’s Inn, 160 Old Friedensburg Road in Exeter Township. All proceeds benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

To date Bertie’s Inn has donated more than $350,000 to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

More than 7,000 come out for PA BBQ FEST at Leesport Market

More than 7,000 people attended the PA BBQ FEST over two days at the Leesport Farmers Market on July 7 and 8, hosted by David Shefter, owner of the Penn Werner Hotel in downtown Wernersville, and his family.

“The patrons enjoyed seeing, smelling and tasting the great food created by the 12 pit masters,” said Shefter.
