State police at Frackville have obtained arrest warrants for two Berks County men charged in an armed robbery June 5 at a convenience store in Schuylkill County.
Luke P. Boyer, 39, of Reading and Darren M. Fiske, 43, of Temple face felony charges of robbery, conspiracy and theft.
They were identified as suspects in a robbery at the New Ringgold Market in New Ringgold, along with Brandon S. Herb, 34, of Coal Township, Schuylkill County, who was arrested and jailed in June on felony charges.
Boyer and Fiske were charged by state police Trooper Nicholas J. Reese of the Frackville station.
According to troopers:
In the early-morning hours of June 5, Herb and Boyer entered the store wearing masks and hoods, pulled out handguns and robbed the business of $5,000 to $6,000.
While pointing a Taser at a cashier, Herb took several storage safes and registers from beneath the counter and handed them to Boyer, who went outside and got into a vehicle driven by Fiske.
After Herb took additional money from the register, the trio fled and drove west on Route 895.
Herb later told police that they had gone to Boyer’s home, where they divided the money.
In a June 20 interview with state police at Reading, Fiske admitted he was the driver of Boyer’s vehicle.
Boyer also faces misdemeanor counts of simple assault, reckless endangerment and possessing an instrument of crime.
Online records show the two suspects are still at large.
Herb was arraigned June 21 and committed to Schuylkill County Prison, where he remains in lieu of $100,000 bail.
