The Yocum Institute for Arts Education will host the first concert of its 2024 Jazz on the Ave concert series on Friday, Oct. 18, at 7 p.m., at 3000 Penn Ave., West Lawn. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.
Get ready to swing into the season with an unforgettable evening of Roaring 20s music and New Orleans Jazz, featuring the vibrant sounds of Ben Mauger’s Vintage Jazz Band. This talented ensemble brings together Ben Mauger on trumpet and cornet, Chris Heslop on sax and clarinet, Bob Peruzzi on trombone, Bob Kreitz on piano, Paul Gallello on drums, and Tim Hilliker on bass.
