A peach of a day at Oley festival

The Oley Fire Company Peach and Ice Cream Festival drew thousands of people to the Oley Fairgrounds Saturday as more than 2,000 pounds of peaches were served.

The event included a variety of other food, including a clambake, along with musical entertainment, a car cruise, cornhole and quoits tournaments, a tractor pull, a Chinese auction and a peach dessert baking contest.

Proceeds from the event were to benefit the fire company.
