Snow has begun to cover ski slopes in the Northern Hemisphere, and that means it’s time for skiing and après ski party fun. Sing-along, chant-along, dance in your ski boots on wooden decks at chalets and Skihütten, and most importantly, celebrate the good times in life by “schulkeln” (swaying from side to side to the beat of the music) with friends and strangers who become new friends.
The latest addition in a long line of fun party music is a new worldwide release from Mountain Laurel Records by alpine power trio Kline, Lewis & Meixner. Based in Pennsylvania and Texas, the trio blends traditional alpine music and instrumentation with a touch of electronic dance music and a solid beat that gives listeners and merry-makers a solid beat for dancing and schulkeln, whether it be in the Alps or the Rockies.
The new release, “Hop Sa Sa Après Ski Track,” serves up music with a beat to sway by and the added twist of everybody jumping to their feet when the words “Hop Sa Sa” are sung. With alpine farm animals like goats, sheep, cows, and doves joining in, the mood is set for a real or imaginary adventure in the big mountains anywhere in the world.
Kline, Lewis & Meixner is Dave Kline, Dave Lewis, and Alex Meixner. “Hop Sa Sa Après Ski Track” by Kline, Lewis & Meixner is now available worldwide on all major digital streaming and download platforms, such as Spotify, Apple Music, Apple iTunes, Amazon Music, Pandora, Deezer, etc. The new single is also available on YouTube at youtu.be/mKvNhRXeT98.
