Other performances include sets by Jon Smith’s Voyages, Bret Tobias, The Squonks, First Things First, Alright, Junior, Mojo Hotel, 25th Hour, Inspector 12’s Majestic Realm, So What!, Brian Levering, Jestin Adams, Adam Leon, Amanda!, Lone Cricket, Alex & EJ, Laila Mack, and Tom Rader & Friends with a Flux Capacitor After-Party at 7 p.m. at West Reading Motor Club.
The WRCRF, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, produces multiple events during the year on Penn Avenue. During Art on the Avenue, Art Plus Gallery hosts Plein Air West Reading, a week-long creative event in its 10th year, where over 30 artists from across the country capture the beauty and character of West Reading and Berks County in their unique style. During the Saturday festival, award winners are showcased and sold under large tents near 6th and Penn avenues.
Prior to the Saturday festival’s opening at 11 a.m., Safe Berks will hold its “Walk for No More” campaigning against domestic abuse, which begins near 8th Avenue and will continue east on Penn Avenue to the 400 block.
