Exeter sophomore Jillian Warner has been voted the BCIAA Player of the Year in girls volleyball by the league’s coaches.
Warner was a key member of the Exeter team that won the BCIAA tournament championship, beating Wilson 3-0 in the final.
Warner was joined on the All-Conference Team by sophomore teammate Taylor Mack.
Also named to the All-Conference Team were Twin Valley seniors Addison Hertzog and Mikayla Riehl, Wilson sophomores Keira Benner and Aicha Kann, and Berks Catholic senior Melina Stinsky.
Exeter’s Jason Grove was named Coach of the Year.
All-Division 1 Team
Exeter also had two players make the all-division team in senior Sami Baer and junior Audrey Gierlich.
They were joined on the team by Gov. Miffln seniors Isabella Bottiglieri and Allison Walton, Twin Valley seniors Delaney Hoover and Casey Levan, and Wilson junior Ashlan Moyer.
Receiving honorable mention were: Exeter’s Ridleigh Moyer and Lily Acker, Muhlenberg’s Gianna Sharp, Twin Valley’s Marie Riehl, and Wilson’s Clara Conner, Ava Legath and Naveah Paye.
All-Division 2 Team
Schuylkill Valley placed three players on the all-division team in senior Paige Chase, and juniors Tara Hirschtritt and Mary Johns.
They were joined on the team by Berks Catholic’s Paisley Hook, a senior, and Karimay Sesay, a junior; Brandywine Heights senior Greta Kline; and Fleetwood junior Kylie Hallman.
Receiving honorable mention were: Conrad Weiser’s Izzy Ely and Macy Stoy, Daniel Boone’s Paige Link and Madeleine Scherzer, Fleetwood’s Siena Geschwindt, Schuylkill Valley’s Julia Lassandro, and Wyomissing’s Amaya Stewart.
