Exeter boys and girls won their quarterfinal matches on Tuesday in the BCIAA team bowling championships at Berks Lanes.
The other quarterfinal winners were Hamburg in the boys tournament and Wilson in the girls tournament.
They advance to today’s semifinals to meet teams that had quarterfinal byes.
In the boys tournament, all matches are at 3:15 p.m. at Berks Lanes, Exeter rolls against Wilson, and Hamburg takes on Daniel Boone.
In the girls tournament, Gov. Mifflin faces Wilson, and Exeter goes against Daniel Boone.
The Wilson boys won Division 1 during the regular season and Daniel Boone won Division 2. In the girls regular season, Gov. Mifflin won Division 1 and the Blazers won Division 2.
On Tuesday in the boys quarterfinals, Exeter defeated Wyomissing, 2,871-2,662, as Joe Vasquez led the Eagles with a 639 series (196, 235, 208).
In the other quarterfinal match, Hamburg downed Gov. Mifflin, 2,830-2,761. Conner Moyer rolled a 636 series (236, 204, 196) to lead the Hawks.
In the girls quarterfinals, Wilson defeated Hamburg, 2,541-2,207, as Samantha Clay rolled a 598 series (189, 186, 223).
In their 2,433-2,089 win over Twin Valley, the Eagles’ Haley Schwenk rolled a 607 series (204, 224, 179). Schwenk won the BCIAA girls individual title last week.
The championship matches are Thursday at 3:15 p.m. at Berks Lanes.
