Senior Ethan Grim struck out 10 in five innings of work as unbeaten Gov. Mifflin defeated Lampeter-Strasburg 11-3 in a non-league baseball game on Thursday night.
Grim, a Virginia Tech commit, allowed just two hits and one earned run. He also was 2 for 4 at the plate with an RBI double.
Matt Koehler was 2 for 3 with a run scored and an RBI.
With the score 6-2 in the bottom of the sixth, Travis Jenkins hit a 2-run triple and Grim had his RBI double as part of a 5-run inning to break the game open for the Mustangs (14-0).
Wilson 11, Parkland 5
Tim Lengle went 3 for 3 with three RBI and three runs scored as Wilson defeated Parkland 11-5 in a non-league high school baseball game on Thursday.
Lengle and Jack Gabel, who was 1 for 3 with RBI, each hit doubles.
Nate Herron was 2 for 2 with an RBI and 2 runs scored for the Bulldogs, and Christo Hunsicker went 2 for 4 with an RBI.
Leading 5-3, the Bulldogs broke the game open in the bottom of the fifth inning, scoring 5 runs.

Winning pitcher Jake Hafer struck out seven and allowed just three hits as Exeter beat Solanco in a non-league game on Thursday.
Hafer also went 1 for 4 at the plate with an RBI.

Daniel Boone had a three-run lead heading into the sixth inning when Cedar Crest scored three runs to tie the game and go on to a 4-3 non-league victory.
The Blazers scored a run in the first on a sacrifice fly by Ryan Pence.
The Blazers added a run in the fourth on sacrifice fly by Greyson Bell and scored again in the fifth on a wild pitch.
Cedar Crest mounted its comeback on an RBI single by Skylar Sherman and a two-run single by Luke Oriel.
The Falcons walked it off in the seventh on a bases loaded, one out single by Carson DiBiaso.
Daniel Boone starting pitcher Anthony Manogue went 5.1 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits while striking out 7 and walking two.
Pine Grove 6, Schuylkill Valley 3
Quinn Brommer went 3 for 4 with 2 RBI to lead Pine Grove to a 6-3 non-league win over Schuylkill Valley on Thursday.
