Mia Vasquez scored 23 points to lead Gov. Mifflin to a 61-41 high school girls basketball victory over Berks Catholic on Friday night.
Vasquez scored eight points in the first quarter as the Mustangs took a 17-7 lead after one period.
Saray Renninger, who had six points in the first quarter, had four in the second quarter as Gov. Mifflin extended its to lead 30-13. Renninger finished with 13 points.
Vasquez scored 10 points in the fourth quarter as Gov. Mifflin cruised to the win.
For Berks Catholic, Madison Langdon scored 10 points.

Luke Turchi scored 21 points and Benjamin DeBalko added 18 to lead Oley Valley to a 68-60 boys basketball win over Hamburg on Friday night.Evan Fisher added 11 points for Oley.
For Hamburg, Andrew Arroyo had 18 points and Ty Werley 17. Ricky Clark chipped in 10 points.
