The Berks County coroner’s office is seeking help in locating relatives of Gary L. Moyer, 61, of Weissport, Carbon County, who died Tuesday of injuries suffered in a crash on Route 222 in Maxatawny Township.
Officials have been unable to contact his next of kin.
Moyer was riding a motorcycle that crashed into a tractor-trailer Tuesday about 6:30 p.m. on Route 222 near Grim Road just south of the village of Maxatawny.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by state police in Reading, who haven’t released any details. A ruling on the manner of death is pending an investigation.
Moyer’s last known address was on White Street in Weissport. Anyone with information that may help locate relatives of Moyer is asked to call the coroner’s office at 610-478-3280.
