Chase McMonagle threw three second-half touchdowns as Fleetwood defeated Kennard Dale 28-0 on Saturday in a non-league high school football game.
After a scoreless first half, the Tigers (3-3) made it 7-0 early in the third quarter on Jason Petion’s 18-yard run. Gryffin Cappellano kicked the extra point.
McMonagle then threw two scoring passes in the third quarter, the first a 37-yarder to Davyan Moore. The second was a 95-yard catch and run to Tristin McFarland, who then ran in the two-point conversion to make it 21-0 after three quarters.
In the fourth quarter, McMonagle hit McFarland with a 5-yard touchdown pass and Cappellano kicked the extra point.
McMonagle finished with 309 yards passing, completing 14 of 24.
McFarland caught 7 passes for 186 yards. Petion gained 132 yards rushing on 11 carries.
Kennard Dale is 2-4.
Fleetwood returns to Lancaster-Lebanon League action on Friday with a Section 3 game at Warwick (3-3, 2-1). Fleetwood is 0-2 in LL Section 3.
