Exeter’s Giulia Weisser put on an impressive performance on Monday to repeat as the girls champion in the BCIAA Golf Championships.
The Eagles junior fired a one-under par 71 for 18 holes at Golden Oaks to win by nine strokes.
Weisser won last year’s title by eight strokes.
Schuylkill Valley’s Abby McCaffrey and Oley Valley’s Chloe Pridie tied for second at 80, with Wilson’s Kyla Quimby fourth at 81.
Conrad Weiser’s Macy Snyder was fifth (86).
Rounding out the top ten, all of whom qualified for the District 3 championships, were: Wyomissing’s Addi Lecher and Hamburg’s Kayla Hix, tied for sixth at 97, Wilson’s Victoria Reedy, eighth at 100, Wyomissing’s Violet Buchanon, ninth at 102, and Wilson’s Adelyn Quinlivan 10th (104).
Weisser finished fifth in last year’s District 3 tournament. This year’s tournament is Oct. 2-4 at Honey Run Golf Club in York. Weisser went on to finish tied for 15th in the PIAA championships last fall.
The BCIAA boys individual championships are Wednesday at Golden Oaks.
