Jayden Kantner scored three goals to lead Muhlenberg to a 4-0 high school boys soccer victory over Octorara on Saturday.

Rodrigo Moreno had the Muhls’ other goal. Jake Salinas had two assists and Damian Ramirez one assist.

Milton Hershey 2, Twin Valley 0

Ryder Mccarron and Victor Salazar scored goals as Milton Hershey defeated Twin Valley 2-0 in high school boys soccer on Saturday.

Twin Valley goalie Aidan Miller made seven saves.

Reading High Tournament

Milan Kosiba scored two goals and Caden Thompson one as Schuylkill Valley defeated Reading High 3-2.

Reading High then defeated Millersburg 3-0 as Erick Huaroco, Alexis Serrano and Carlos León scored.

Field hockey

Hanover Tournament

West York 2, Kutztown 1 (OT, shootout)

Samantha Clark scored Kutztown’s goal but the Cougars lost to West York in a shootout at the Hanover Tournament.

West York made 2 of 5 shots in the shootout and the Cougars missed their first four attempts.

Susquehanna Twp. 2, Kutztown 0

Susquehanna Township defeated Kutztown 2-0 in the Hanover Tournament.

Muhlenberg Tournament

Elco 13, Muhlenberg 0

Schuylkill Valley 11, Muhlenberg 0

Berks Catholic 9, Lancaster Catholic 0

Liv Welker and Lily Wolf each scored two goals to lead Berks Catholic to a 9-0 field hockey win over Lancaster Catholic.

Wolf also had an assist, and Parker Krajsa had a goal and an assist.

Berks Catholic had a 20-2 edge in shots. Saints’ goalie Tori Agostini made two saves.

Gov. Mifflin 6, Berks Catholic 2

Makenna Baessler scored three goals to lead Gov. Mifflin to a 6-2 win over Berks Catholic.

Lily Wolf scored the Saints’ two goals.

Berks Catholic had a 10-8 edge in shots.

Water polo

Gov. Mifflin’s girls water polo team defeated Cathedral Prep 12-3.

Isabella Harman had four goals for the Mustangs and Camryn Caron, Mackenzie Caron and Maddie French each had two goals.

In the boys match, Cathedral Prep defeated Gov. Mifflin 16-9.

For the Mustangs, Jacob Troy and Grant DeLoretta each had four goals.

 Reading 17, Erie McDowell 8

Charles “Trey” Stricker had seven goals, three assists and three steals to lead Reading High to a 17-8 win in boys water polo at the North Allegheny Tournament.

Gabriel Iswalt had five goals, Brock Schrawder had three goals and Collin Gilbert two goals.

Reading High 16, Lower Merion 8

Dalton Rogers scored five goals to lead Reading High to a 16-8 boys water polo victory over Lower Merion at the North Allegheny Tournament.

Charles “Trey” Stricker added four goals and three steals.

Girls soccer

Izzy Soto, Ellee Vicari, Brooke Gehret and Angie Rodriguez each scored a goal to lead Wilson to a 4-1 non-league girls soccer victory over Easton on Saturday.

Ellee Vicari, Izzy Soto and Brieanna Sheaffer had assists for the Bulldogs.
