Now’s the time to protect your sensitive plants from the cold.
The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for tonight that includes Berks County.
The warning is in effect from midnight until 9 a.m. Wednesday, as the overnight temperature is forecast to dip into the lower 30s.
Officials said frost and freezing conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
The daytime high temperature isn’t forecast to break out of the 50s until Friday, while nighttime lows Wednesday and Thursday are expected to remain in the 30s.
