Bring The Change is proud to announce its second annual Black Excellence Soiree, themed “Bridging the Gap: Intergenerational Dialogue & Collaboration.” This vibrant celebration of Black heritage and achievement will take place on Saturday, Feb. 15, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Alvernia University’s Francis Hall Atrium, 400 Saint Bernardine St., Reading.

This year’s soiree will focus on fostering connections and partnerships between generations within the Black community. The evening promises an enriching experience, highlighting the importance of preserving our roots while building a brighter future.

Event Highlights:

The Black Excellence Soiree is a celebration of achievement, history, and community connection! Students from Albright College, Alvernia University, Kutztown University, Penn State Berks, and Reading Area Community College will be featured. This inspiring evening will honor two outstanding community leaders and advocates: Ebony McNeil (Founder and CEO of The Forge) and English Bradley (Mayor Moran’s Chief of Staff). Bring The Change invites you to join us for an evening of dialogue, collaboration, and cultural celebration.
