The CancerTelethon.Org Auction/Basket Raffle will be held Sunday, March 19, at the Tamaqua High School Gymnasium, where there will find hundreds of prizes lining tables.
Seating will be available in the gymnasium, or organizers will contact winners by text or phone to pick up their prizes.
There will be a Shop and Drop event March 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. Get a preview of the items or drop your tickets to avoid the Sunday crowd. The auction on March 19 opens its doors at 11:30 a.m., and the event begins at 2:30.
Top prizes include $1,000 cash, a Dell Inspiron Laptop, fuel oil, Fitbit, air purifier, robotic vacuum, Sundance Vacations eight-day trip, Inn at Jim Thorpe stay, Catalpa Grove Cabin Stay, Lowes gift card, lottery basket, Nintendo Switch with Mario Kart Deluxe, 12-bottle wine collection, 55-inch Smart Roku television and a pizza each month for a year.
Non-cash payments will be accepted via an online payment application accessible via a QR code. Cash is accepted and preferred.
Food will be sold to enjoy inside or for take-out.

All proceeds will be presented at the Annual American Cancer Telethon scheduled for April 1 and 2 at Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe. It will be broadcast live on BRC-TV13, Service Electric and Pottsville Comcast TV.
