Carnival of Lights set to return on Black Friday in North Coventry

NORTH COVENTRY — The Pottstown area’s best-kept secret, the Carnival of Lights, will return this year to the Norco Fire Company on Route 724 starting Black Friday through New Year’s Day.

The fifth annual event will feature over 500,000 lights, all digitally synchronized to favorite holiday music. With over 50 songs and two hours of music, new wire figures and a slew of new lights and surprises, this year’s show will be the largest ever.

Of course, it would not be The Carnival of Lights without amusement rides. Brightly decorated rides will be available for all ages and all levels of thrills. Amusement rides are included with admission. There are no tickets or wristbands to buy; it’s included.

A delicious cup of hot chocolate and a fresh-baked cookie or a fresh-made S’more over an open fire pit will warm your soul as you witness the larger-than-life light display.

Guests can also enjoy gourmet hot dogs, hamburgers, cheesesteaks, wood-fired pizza, chicken fingers, french fries, funnel cakes, fried Oreos and cotton candy and many other delicious treats.

New this year, enjoy your dinner in a heated seating area. A chance to win a prized stuffed animal and other gifts will satisfy your inner child as we celebrate the season together.

Be sure to bring your letters for Santa and your Christmas list and take your picture with Santa at his beautifully decorated home at the Carnival of Lights. All Santa visits are free with admission. Affordable photo packages are available to fit everyone’s budget and are listed on the website. Word of caution, be on the lookout for the Grinch wandering throughout the show. You never know when he’s going to show up, and is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Returning this year, Dinner and a Show, will be held on Dec. 14. The Dinner and a Show will feature a full Spaghetti Dinner, a private visit from Santa, and entrance into the Carnival of Lights. Dinner reservations can be made online only.

New this year, our Sensory Friendly Night for Special Needs will take place on Dec. 16. The show will be steadily lit, except for a few props. Music will be at a lower volume, and extra trained staff will be on hand. A “Quiet Room” will also be available for those who need a break.

Tickets can be purchased in advance by visiting the website, or at the gate when you arrive. Group, Military, First Responder and Senior Citizen Discounts are available at the gate only. Discount coupons are available on the website.

The Carnival of Lights will be held at the Norco Fire Company, Route 724, Pottstown, PA 19465. The fun begins Nov. 29 and runs select days through Jan. 1, 2025.
