The Dreibelbis Farm Historical Society hosted its annual Farm Festival Saturday at the Historic Dreibelbis Farm near Virginville.
Activities included demonstrations of life on the farm including kitchen crafts, open-hearth cooking, butchering, dairy chores, spinning, and blacksmithing. The event featured old-time tools and farming activities along with Native American and Civil War veterans displays, a hay ride and old-time games for the children.
The event also included talks on local archaeology, local units in the Civil War, Native American storytelling, Revolutionary War enactors and period music.
