The Daniel Boone Optimist Club is seeking applicants for its 2024 scholarship program.
This year four scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors residing within the Daniel Boone School District:

• One Daniel Boone Optimist Club Memorial Scholarship: This scholarship is for $2,000 and will be awarded to a student whose actions most resemble the Optimist Creed and who inspires the respect and admiration of classmates as a result.
• Two Daniel Boone Optimist Club Scholarships for the Performing and Visual Arts: Each scholarship is $1,000 and will be awarded to students who plan to major or minor in the arts.
“We are so excited to add these awards to our scholarship program this year,” the Optimist Club stated in the announcement.
