District 3 boys basketball: Berks Catholic will play for 4A title

Zach Suski scored 17 points as Berks Catholic stormed past Susquehanna Township and into the District 3 Class 4A boys championship basketball game.

Led by Suski, the Saints won 61-42 in the semifinals on Monday night at home and will play Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in the Giant Center in Hershey for the district title against the winner of Eastern York-Big Spring.

Freshman Carmelo Harper scored six points as the Saints (19-4) raced to an 18-10 lead after one quarter.

Kingston McCoy scored seven points in the second quarter as Berks Catholic led 32-18 at halftime.

Suski scored 12 points in the second half as the Saints rolled to the 19-point win.
