Exeter fell to Hershey 69-49 in the District 3 Class 5A boys basketball championship game on Friday at Hershey’s Giant Center.
After an impressive first quarter from the eighth-seeded Eagles, leading 11-7, their offense went cold.
The second-seeded Trojans (22-3) went on a 15-0 run in the second quarter to take command.
Exeter had no answer defensively rest of the way and could not overcome a double-digit deficit.
Junior Cameron Sweeney took over for the Trojans, scoring a game-high 28 points.
Jayden Ware had 17 points for the Eagles
