Downtown Reading and the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum join forces for the 31st annual World War II Mid-Day Parade.
Downtown Reading, in partnership with the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum, proudly presents the 31st annual World War II Mid-Day Parade on Friday, June 6, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., at 500 Penn St., Reading.
This year’s parade promises a nostalgic journey filled with historic World War II vehicles, troops in period uniforms, local food vendors with outdoor seating, and live music by the Snack Club Quartet. Join local officials and Mid-Atlantic Air Museum leadership on Penn Street for some mid-afternoon fun.
The event marks the official kickoff for the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum’s 34th annual World War II Weekend, which is held at the Reading Regional Airport from Friday, June 6, through Sunday, June 8. The weekend will feature air shows, vehicle displays, vendors, and more live music.
Downtown Reading is kicking off the 2025 First Friday block party season.
The City of Reading is excited to announce the kick-off of the 2025 First Friday block party season on Friday, June 6, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., on the 600 block of Penn Street. This event promises an evening filled with art, culture, and community fun.
Attendees can enjoy:
- Local and regional food vendors offering a variety of delicious food.
- A beer garden fueled by Pagoda City Brewing & Casa W Distillery.
- Live music by Caya Sol and entertainment by DJ Henry Houdini.
- Art, face painting, jumbo games, and other kid-friendly activities.
- Local creatives selling crochet, drinkware, keychains, jewelry, lip glosses, hair-braiding, and more.
