The Schuylkill County Master Gardeners are holding an evergreen wreath and swag workshop on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Friedensburg Fish and Game Clubhouse on 169 Stone Mountain Road.
Register as soon as possible at schuylkillExt@psu.edu by selecting workshops from the menu box and typing wreath in the search bar.
Registration is $10 plus $20 for the wreath materials or $10 for the swag kit. Class size is limited to 25 participants, with a Nov. 3 deadline for registration.
Master Gardeners will assist with the construction of wreaths and swag as needed. Supplies include greens, wire, ribbon, and decorative natural materials. Please bring your own gloves, wire cutters, pruners and if desired, personal decorations.
The year’s educational topic will cover some of the newer insects of concern to gardeners.
