West Reading, Pa., September 30, 2025 – Reading Hospital 7th Avenue Pharmacy is hosting “Walk-In Wednesdays” to make it even easier and more convenient to get a flu shot this fall.
During Walk-In Wednesdays throughout October, community members and Reading Hospital-Tower Health patients can skip making an appointment and instead stop in any time between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. to receive their flu shot.
Walk-In Wednesdays will be held on October 1, October 8, October 15, October 22, and October 29 at the pharmacy, located at Reading Hospital’s Doctor’s Office Building, Suite 145. Street parking and free garage parking are available. There is no cost for the flu shot with most insurance plans; however, restrictions may apply. Pharmacy staff are available to answer questions.
In addition to Walk-In Wednesdays, community members and Reading Hospital-Tower Health patients can schedule convenient flu shot and vaccination appointments that work best with their schedule. Reading Hospital 7th Avenue Pharmacy also offers a variety of vaccines, also at no cost with most insurance plans.

- Flu Vaccine (age 3+)
- Flu Vaccine (age 65+)
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis A/B
- Hepatitis B
- HPV
- Measles
- Mumps
- Rubella

- Shingles
- Tdap
Vaccinations are for age 18 and older, unless otherwise noted. Other vaccinations are available upon request. Restrictions may apply, and age and vaccine eligibility requirements are subject to change.
