Running back Craig Reynolds, the former Kutztown University standout, was elevated from the Detroit Lions’ practice squad to the active roster on Saturday.
Reynolds is expected to be listed behind fellow running backs Godwin Igwebuike and Jermar Jefferson on Detroit’s depth chart for its Week 14 game at Denver at 4:05 p.m., according to CBS Sports.
In his third NFL season, Reynolds was named to the Lions’ practice squad on Sept. 1. He saw action in three games with Washington as a rookie in 2019, and in two games last season with Jacksonville.
After taking a redshirt year in 2014, Reynolds played for the Golden Bears from 2015-18 and was a three-time All-PSAC East first-team selection. The Willow Grove native went undrafted before signing with Washington as a free agent.
