Reading Public Library is once again offering the “Great Decisions” Discussion Group Series in 2025, presenting conversations on some of the most critical global issues facing America today. The 2025 topics are:
- Feb. 25: American Foreign Policy at a Crossroads
- March 4: U.S. Changing Leadership of the World Economy
- March 11: U.S.-China Relations
- March 25: International Cooperation on Climate Change
- April 1: The Future of NATO and European Security
- April 8: A.I. and American National Security
- April 15: India: Between China, the West, and the Global South
- April 22: After Gaza: American Policy in the Middle East (followed by a luncheon)
The discussion group will meet from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in person at Reading Public Southeast Branch, 1426 Perkiomen Ave., Reading.
Topics are presented through a briefing book, video presentation, and facilitated discussion. The $35 registration fee includes a briefing book with expert papers on all eight topics. The fee for two people sharing a briefing book is $40.
