Humane Pennsylvania to Waive Senior Shelter Pet Adoption Fees for National Adopt A Senior Pet Month

from Humane Pennsylvania

November is National Adopt A Senior Pet Month, a time dedicated to highlighting the joys of adopting older shelter pets. In celebration, Humane Pennsylvania is excited to announce that throughout the entire month of November, adoption fees for senior pets over the age of 8 will be waived at both the Lancaster and Reading adoption centers. This month-long fee-waived adoption event is made possible by longtime supporters of Humane Pennsylvania who wish to remain anonymous.

From Nov. 1 to Nov. 30, animal lovers are encouraged to visit either adoption center to find their new furry companion. As part of the adoption process, all pets will come with a comprehensive care package to ensure a smooth transition to their forever homes.

“We believe that every pet deserves a loving home, especially those who have given so much to us throughout their lives. By covering the adoption fees for senior pets this November, we hope to encourage others to open their hearts and homes to these deserving animals. These senior pets are waiting to share their love with you. Remember, Love is Ageless,” said the anonymous sponsors.

Adopters wishing to provide a forever home for a senior shelter pet are encouraged to visit the shelter campuses or HumanePA.org. All potential adopters are required to go through Humane Pennsylvania’s diligent adoption screening process (approval is not guaranteed).
