Humane Pennsylvania is offering fee-waived pet adoptions as part of their annual sponsored “12 Days of Adoptions” event, in hopes of clearing the shelters and finding a home for every shelter pet in their care this holiday season.

From Friday, Dec. 13, through Tuesday, Dec. 24, adoption fees will be waived for potential adopters looking to bring a shelter pet home for the holidays, thanks to the generosity of participating sponsors, including Guthrie Dental, Ty & Tina Shank, Summit Advisory Investment Banking, Berks Pet Care, Riverfront Federal Credit Union, Blazing Technologies, Mitsubishi Chemical Group, Customers Bank, Penn Pride, and Urso Financial Management & Consulting.

Since 2018, Humane Pennsylvania’s 12 Days of Adoptions promotion has found loving forever homes for over 500 animals in need!

Adopters wishing to provide a forever home for shelter animals are encouraged to visit the shelter campuses or HumanePA.org. All potential adopters are required to go through Humane Pennsylvania’s diligent adoption screening process (approval is not guaranteed). Some exclusions may apply.

Hey! I’m Gohma. I am a one-year-old spayed female domestic short hair. I was found as a friendly stray and brought in by a good Samaritan. I have only lived with my kittens and have never lived with other cats or dogs. I would do best in a quieter home that will be patient with me as I get used to my surroundings. I enjoy sleeping with people and love cuddling! Come meet me today!
Hey there! I’m Ollie. I am a one-year-old neutered male boxer mix. I am a super(!) friendly guy who doesn’t know the definition of the word ‘stranger.’ I was adopted and returned due to being too high energy for the small children. Because of this, I would thrive with dog-savvy children who are a bit older. I love children but am unaware of my size! I was originally found as a stray, so, unfortunately, my past is a mystery.

I enjoy going for short walks, but I am a couch potato at heart and will demand to be carried home! I prefer to run around in the backyard instead! Staff is unsure how I would be with cats, and dog friends would depend on a meet and greet.

Hi there! I’m Sterling. I am a nine-month-old male rabbit searching for my forever home! I’m a friendly dude, but I am not the biggest fan of being held. I enjoy hanging out on the floor and being petted by my favorite people! I also enjoy supervised time outdoors when the weather is nice, and I love my fruits and vegetables!

As of Tuesday, Dec. 10, Gohma, Ollie, and Sterling were available for adoption at the Freedom Center for Animal Life-Saving.
