From John Paul II Center for Special Learning

John Paul II Center for Special Learning (JPII) held a graduation ceremony on Monday, June 2, at 12:30 p.m., for three students at their location at 1092 Welsh Road, Shillington.
The members of the JPII class of 2025 include:
- Alexandra Castillo, daughter of Roselia Castillo, Reading
- Amelia Carrillo, daughter of Alfa Quintana, Reading
- Nathaniel Thomas, son of Carmen Mantilla, Reading
Mass was celebrated by Msgr. Orsulak from St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church in Reading. Students and staff participated in the liturgy, coordinated by Cindy Long, Director of Religious Education. Mrs. Kaylee Simick, Principal, presented the diplomas, and a small reception with family and friends followed the ceremony.
Principal Simick shared, “We are thrilled to celebrate these students’ achievements and bring together family, friends, and staff to honor their hard work. These three remarkable individuals have shown incredible dedication in reaching this milestone. As they begin the next chapter of their lives, we offer our heartfelt prayers for their continued success and happiness. We trust their perseverance and talents will lead them to incredible opportunities.”
