Members of the Kutztown Rotary Club honored Colin Diehl as Student of the Month during a Jan. 8 ceremony.
Each month throughout the school year, Kutztown Area High School and Brandywine Heights Area High School administrators each select one student for this award based collectively on academic achievement, school participation, and community contributions.
The ceremony occurs during the Kutztown Rotary meeting on the first Wednesday of the month at the Kutztown Tavern, where the weekly meeting for the club generally take place. However this month due to some scheduling conflicts, the Brandywine student was unable to attend the event and will be celebrated at the next Student of the Month ceremony.
