Expect delays throughout the coming work week on the eastbound West Shore Bypass as PennDOT crews make repairs to a bumpy stretch of Route 422 carried by bridge.
Officials said there will be lane restrictions between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, on Route 422 eastbound between the Penn Street and Lancaster Avenue exits.
Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through the area that is congested during peak travel times under normal conditions.
The work may be delayed by rain.
Reading Mayor Eddie Moran’s administration encourages drivers to plan ahead and practice patience.
