Letter: Different approach needed on issues regarding climate

Editor:

My view on the climate change initiative:

• Define the problem.

• Define an acceptable goal.

• Construct an actionable solution that addresses 1 and will accomplish 2.

None of these have been done. Is climate change man-made? That’s not certainly not proven. Will its current rate doom civilization? I’ve seen no evidence. Will dumping all our assets into emotional plans limit our ability to mitigate once we understand where exactly mitigation will be necessary? Probably. Have the politicians followed only the loudest voices instead of the rational ones, and repeatedly failed? Yes.
The climate cartel is corrupt. Watch how they live, not how they want others to live.

The worst thing is that they are anti-democratic. The people don’t want their half-baked solutions, especially the ones that could lead to true dystopia in the end and their impoverishment along the way. They are politicians who don’t know what they are doing most of the time and cannot distinguish a complex system from a sushi menu.
