Voting for someone because they have a D or R after their name can have major consequences. We all like supporting the home team in sports, but when they lose, unless you are a gambler, you are out nothing. However, voting for a president because of their party affiliation can have terrible consequences.
I encourage everyone to be informed and evaluate all sides. Don’t just listen to their words but learn about past decisions they have made and how those decisions have affected you. If those decisions have improved your life, vote for that person. If not, keep looking and doing your research.
Don’t just vote a certain way because your friends or family have traditionally always voted a certain way. With everything going on within our country and world, informed voting is crucial.
