Well my taxes are finished. And while everything seems OK with my federal return, the state has again informed us that we owe a sizable amount of money. This of course is the state with one of the highest taxes on gasoline and just about highest on property as well.
We need to congratulate the powers that be in Harrisburg, the governor and his trusty band of Robin Hoods who have decided they can allot money to whomever they choose and make certain groups think they are just wonderful. Particularly those groups that produce the highest number of votes.
Those of us who are retired on a limited income, the families who are barely getting by and others like them have the governor and his ignorance to thank for their plight.
