They hardly knew each other but shared a common historical moment, changing culture in the second half of the 20th century. David Denby is a New York Times bestselling author. He was a film critic for New York Magazine and The New Yorker, where he is now a staff writer. His essays have appeared in The New Republic and The Atlantic. He lives in New York City.

Literatour Berks, in its seventh year of programming, features exceptional Jewish authors from around the country.
