Each year, Newsweek’s annual “America’s Best Nursing Homes” rankings list is compiled after evaluating nursing homes across the 25 states with the highest number of facilities, based on Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services data. The nursing homes are evaluated in four areas: performance data, recommendations of medical professionals, accreditations and resident satisfaction, according to the ranking website.
This year’s list included 1,050 nursing homes ranked by state in various size categories. The rankings can be used by families as they navigate long-term care decisions, according to a press release.
This national honor reflects the Pennsburg’s ability to “not only meet but exceed the expectations of residents and families alike,” the press release stated. Known for its state-of-the-art facilities and personalized approach, Pennsburg Manor consistently receives praise for its resident-focused care, ensuring each individual’s unique needs are met with the utmost professionalism and warmth.
