The Lehigh Valley Phantoms evened their AHL Atlantic Division semifinal series against the Hershey Bears with a 3-1 victory at Giant Center on Friday night.
Zayde Wisdom scored two shorthanded goals in the third period to lead the Phantoms.
Lehigh Valley took a 1-0 lead late in the second period on a goal by Anthony Richard.
Wisdom made it 2-0 at the 2:05 mark of the third period with his first shorthanded goal.
Hershey cut the deficit in half less than a minute later on a powerplay goal by Alex Limoges.
Wisdom tallied his second shorthanded goal at the 6:34 mark to make it 3-1.
Helge Grans had two assists for Lehigh Valley.
Parker Gahagen had 19 saves for the Phantoms.
Hershey won Game 1 on Wednesday night, 3-0.
The best-of-five AHL Calder Cup playoff series will continue Sunday at 5:05 p.m. with Game 3 at Allentown’s PPL Center.
Lehigh Valley will host Game 4 on Friday, May 9 (7:05 p.m.). Hershey would host Game 5 on Sunday, May 11, if necessary.
