Reading & Berks County, Pennsylvania’s Americana Region, the Destination Management Organization (DMO) for Berks County, is happy to announce the arrival of its 2025 Travel Guide. The annual publication is a comprehensive guide and valuable tool for planning travel to the region. Although designed for visitors, the guide is extremely popular with residents and businesses.

The 2025 guide’s cover features Chicago-based digital creator Rachel Kawate* who visited the region in July 2024. Her smiling image against the slightly blurred background of Colebrookdale’s elegant railcar conveys the Visitor Bureau’s ongoing call to action of Get Curious! – a reminder to every one of the wonderful and unique places to explore throughout Berks County.

The colorful 64-page booklet includes a complete listing of the DMO’s partners and information about attractions, festivals, outdoor recreation, self-guided tours, pet-friendly travel, lodging, and dining. It also includes a calendar of events, insight into local history and culture, and curious facts about Berks County, all interspersed with wonderful pictures taken throughout the area.

Pennsylvania’s Americana Region published 180,000 of the 2025 guides and has begun distribution to its partners, hotels, local municipalities, area colleges, hospitals, and brochure racks across Berks County. PA on Display and Getaways on Display distribute the guide to Interstate Welcome Centers and Rest Areas, PA Turnpike Service Plazas, the I-95 Delaware Water Gap Visitors Center, and other locations. This year, CTM Media Group was contracted to further dispense 35,000 publications to new markets.

Additionally, travel guides are mailed to visitors upon request and are available for meetings, conferences, tour groups, weddings, and reunions. If interested in receiving a 2025 travel guide, contact Reading & Berks County, Pennsylvania’s Americana Region, at 610-375-4085, or click on VisitPaAmericana.com to view, order, or download the new travel guide.

* Ms. Kawate’s July 2024 visit to the area was shared with over 46,000 Instagram followers. Her reel featuring the Colebrookdale Railroad had over 3,000,000 views.
