Route 422 eastbound has reopened in West Reading following a police incident, according to the Berks County Department of Emergency Services.
According to initial reports, a person was struck by several vehicles in the eastbound lanes of Route 422.
Traffic was diverted off Route 422 eastbound at the Route 222 southbound exit in Wyomissing for nearly two hours while emergency personnel responded to the incident.
