The Baaahd Girls will be demonstrating their talents at the Schuylkill County Fair. The sheep-to-shawl team from the Walk-In Art Center Fiber Arts Guild in Schuylkill Haven takes the fleece from a sheep and turns it into wearable art.
The ladies in the group are preparing for the Pennsylvania Farm Show Sheep to Shawl Competition. The team takes the wool from a sheep, prepares and spins it and then weaves it into a shawl.
The team can be found at the Schuylkill County Fair on Tuesday, July 30, at the indoor midway starting at about 4 p.m.
