From City of Reading
The City of Reading is thrilled to announce the 2025 Holiday Parade, set to take place on Saturday, Nov. 22, at 10 a.m., starting at 11th and Penn streets and ending at 2nd and Penn streets.
This year’s theme, “The Gift of Giving Continues,” invites the entire community of Reading to keep the joy and kindness alive. This year’s parade celebrates the ongoing gift of compassion, unity, and community pride, shining a special light on those holiday heroes who make giving a year-round tradition.
Participants are invited to showcase the joy of giving through creative floats, performances, and decorations, bringing to life the warmth and magic of sharing with others. The parade will feature community groups, organizations, schools, and businesses, all coming together to spread holiday cheer.
Join the City of Reading in celebrating as the streets downtown light up with festive displays and holiday spirit. This is a cherished tradition for many in the community, and the City of Reading welcomes everyone to come together and experience the true meaning of the holiday season in downtown.
To participate in the parade, please sign up at the City of Reading Holiday Parade Sign-Up Form. The deadline to sign up is Monday, Nov. 10. For more information on sponsorship or parade details, please contact the City of Reading at DowntownReading@ReadingPA.gov.
