Landon Beers was named April Outstanding Student of the Arts by the Valley View/Tri-Valley Lions Club in recognition of his talent in musical instruments and wearable art.
A son of Tomi and Tim Beers, he is a senior at Tri-Valley High School in the academic curriculum. He performed before the club on the saxophone and oboe. His wearable art includes his shoes, jacket and bookmarks.
His activities include high school musicals, senior high band, track and field and artistic interests. Landon plans to attend Susquehanna University and major in psychology and philosophy.
