The Berks County sheriff’s office is seeking the following fugitives:
Anissah Morel, 20, whose last known address was in the 500 block of North Ninth Street, Reading, is wanted on dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities, theft by unlawful taking and financial exploitation of an older adult/care dependent charges.
Police said Morel was a home health aide worker and stole a checkbook from the victim and cashed 10 checks totaling $5,100 between Sept. 5 and Oct. 2 Muhlenberg Township police also have an arrest warrant for her on theft by unlawful taking charges. She was employed by Wal-Mart and took $580 from a cash register.
She is described as 5 feet 3 inches and 135 pounds.
James Burman Jr., 27, whose last known address was in the 1100 block of Green Street, Reading, is wanted on firearms charges.
Exeter Township police said they stopped Burman’s vehicle June 26 and found multiple firearms and 439.9 grams of marijuana during a search. Burman is a prior felon and is not allowed to possess a firearm. Police filed charges Oct. 2.
He is described as 5 feet 6 inches and 180 pounds.
