The Berks County sheriff’s office is seeking the following fugitives:
• Jonathan Montilla-Diaz, 44, whose last known address was in the 800 block of Schuylkill Avenue, Reading, is wanted on theft by deception, receiving stolen property and bad checks charges.
Police stated that on Feb. 21, 2023, Montilla-Diaz passed a fraudulent check in the amount of $2,599 to purchase auto parts. Felony charges were filed by Cumru Township police. Montilla-Diaz is also wanted by the state attorney general’s office on insurance fraud charges.
He is described as 6 feet 1 inch and 200 pounds.
• Krista Norton, 40, whose last known address was in the 900 block of Meade Street, Williamsport, is wanted on felony retail theft charges.
Police stated that on Feb. 4, Norton entered the Excitement Video Store in Cumru Township, placed an item worth $130 inside her purse and left the store without paying. She is being charged with a felony because it is her fifth retail theft charge.
She is described as 5 feet 3 inches and 150 pounds.
