The Wilson girls volleyball team ended its season Tuesday night with a 3-0 (25-18, 25-9, 25-16) loss to District 1 champion Bishop Shanahan in a PIAA Class 4A first-round match at Downingtown.
Cameryn Niedrowski had 16 assists and one block for the Bulldogs (20-4), the fourth-place finishers in District 3 who played without injured starters Bintou Sissoho and Adarrah Danner. Berks champion Wilson was making its first appearance in the PIAA Tournament and dropped its third straight match.
Bishop Shanahan (20-3) advanced to Saturday’s quarterfinal against District 1 No. 5 seed Garnet Valley, a 3-0 winner over Archbishop Carroll.
