Winners Announced in 22nd Annual Berks County Public Libraries Awards Celebration

On Wednesday, March 5, Berks County Public Libraries honored leadership and service excellence during its 22nd annual Awards Celebration. Presented at the Library System headquarters in front of an audience of 75 attendees, the event recognized individuals and organizations for their support and contributions to public libraries in Berks County.

Commissioner Dante Santoni Jr. welcomes the audience with opening remarks.
State Representative Eric Weaknecht offers remarks alongside Library System Administrator Stephanie Williams.

Members of the library community nominated individuals, groups, or events that demonstrated outstanding commitment or service to their library and patrons. The Berks County Public Libraries (BCPL) Advisory Board considered nominations from 2024 and announced the category winners during the ceremony.

Matthew Cammarano and Tim Lawlor from the Spring Township and West Lawn-Wyomissing Hills libraries
accept the Outstanding Adult Program award for the Writefest program.
