A 21-year-old woman was shot in east Reading.
Officers responded about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday to South 17th Street and Klein Avenue, near Pendora Park, and found the shooting victim in a car. She had suffered a gunshot wound to a leg that was not believed to be life-threatening, investigators said.
The victim was taken by ambulance to Reading Hospital for treatment.
As of Wednesday morning police had not identified any suspects.
