Residents of a Maidencreek Township home were routed by a predawn home fire.
The fire was reported at 5:07 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of Genesis Drive, just east of the Route 222 roundabout.
According to dispatches, the residents were out of the home when first responders arrived. Two adults were taken by ambulance to an area hospital for burns.
Firefighters reportedly rescued a dog from the residence.
Crews needed less than 15 minutes to control the flames. Firefighters cut a hole in the roof to allow heat and smoke to escape.
